So, you want to join Venom. Well good for you. But why do you want to join Venom? You see, the Guild of Thief is truly a Guild. But there are a few things required of you, and being a thief is just not enough though it is a large part.
For one, the members of Venom need to like you. If you manage to find one of them and make it known you wish to join, they will have a leader contact you. If you are not liked though, you will not even be talked to and possably killed for disturbing them.
You have to want to Pkill and Psteal. Venom is not a happy, happy, joy, joy, carebear, love all Guild. They kill and steal from people. It amuses them and makes them happy. This is why the Guild was made, this is why the thieves have joined it. If you do not wish to do these things, do not even bother Venom about it.
You need to be a decent player. Sorry, but there are way to many level 10 thieves made just to try to screw with people. Venom respects good playing and good thievery. If you lack these things once again, go away.
You really need to be a thief. You can be a remort, but your primary must be thief.
You need to dance around three times in a small pentagram. Make sure you are facing north west by south east as you dance. Riaise a broadsword over your head and chant a prayer while steping backwards(never leaving the pentagram btw). Bow down and write your name in dirt at your geet while leaping up in worship of the sungods. Sing a praise to the gods of the dark light, but you can only sing this song if it is not a day other then friday, and you may not sing on friday but the singing of the song is essessental. Write in the achent letters why you are prasing the darklight(ink or lead is optinal).
You will be asked to give who your Multys on the mud are. You will only be asked to give this information to the clanleaders. This is simply a part of joining Venom. If you do not wish to give this information, you do not wish to join. If you do not belive in honor and trust amoung thieves you have no interst in Venom.
