Tasks

1. Formalize a description of the project
• Put in form of a NASA proposal
• Research proposal protocol
• Look at BAA, unsolicited, RFPs from NASA
• Identify deadlines for proposals to NASA
• Look at format and outline all necessary components
2. Look at ERC/CAVS previous research and current research areas to determine how we might leverage the ERC's computational capabilities and strengths
3. Couch the project in terms of enhanced productivity, reduced error, applicability to mission tasks
• Consider/determine NASA's priorities
4. Literature Search
• Acquire TIME magazine article
• Follow-up on newer articles from authors of older useful articles on ISS arm, robotics
• Check on access to the Presence journal online
• Continue to review the CTA book
• Track down recent ISS arm, SPDM, telerobotics research
• Gather info on Hubble repair plans
5. Consider where to publish the results of the project
6. Get moving on acquiring an ERC/CAVS computer acct and access to the building/rooms
